Third Function Hydraulic Kit

Standard tractor loaders have move buckets with four basic functions: up, down, curling, and dumping. The Meadows Mills Third Function Hydraulic Kit allows for the use of grapples, shifting forks, bucket thumbs, and a host of alternative hydraulic functions beyond lifting and curling. Tractors with up to 14gpm auxiliary flow are typically fitted with a tandem center, D03, electric/hydraulic valve that is operated by a two-button control handle mounted on the tractor loader handle. Meadows can accommodate tractors that already have the auxiliary control button available on the handle. Because the push-button ratings vary and are not always robust enough to handle a 12 VDC valve coil on all manufacturers’ machines, Meadows includes a control relay for each button providing for a prolonged push button lift. Tractors with over 14gpm auxiliary flow are typically fitted with a D05, tandem center, electric/hydraulic valve, oftentimes larger tractors are offered with pressure compensated, load sense hydraulic systems. Factory Third Function Kids for these machines are extremely expensive. WIth access to an identical tractor, Meadows can upfit those systems with Third Function Hydraulics for a much more affordable option. Installing a Third Function Kit on your loader will allow you access to abundant possible operations that you can perform with your tractor.
